Jim Moore has been documenting The New York Downtown Clown Revue since it began. His photographic work has also been seen recently in the Oscar winning documentary MAN ON WIRE. His love of the eccentric performing arts has been active since he began photographing rock and roll in the late 1970’s. He performed in the streets of New York, Paris, Amsterdam and other cities around the globe (as a mime) in the 1970’s and 80’s. This blog is posted to make the public aware of a wonderful monthly venue for both aspiring and professional clowns to show their work in a lab/showcase. We hope the visuals inspire more performers to come and show their work as well as for the public to come and enjoy an evening of laughter and pure delight.
